STORMBRINGER UK This is the first Edhels CD, I have ever listened too and it leaves me wondering what their other albums are like, I know as soon as I get chance I will be getting them and if you are looking for some good progressive rock to get into then you need look no further especially if you like instrumentals, but these are instrumentals that are full of atmosphere, passion and emotion and they certainly did it for me. Edhels can certainly play their instruments and come up with some highly complex arrangements that will leave you begging for more.Highly Recommended!!! DEREK DANIEL

Neoprogger dürften es mit diesem Release sehr schwer haben. Fans von psychedelischem Instrumentalprogrock an der Grenze zum Space Rock und New Age bekommen vor allem mit den Tracks Blue tears, The prying eyes, dem düsteren und geheimnsvollen Origine, 1335 sowie dem Longtrack Aleph stimmungsvolle Minuten beschert.

SUBTERRANEA CHILI Conocí a Edhels a través de su álbum "Oriental Christmas" grabado en 1986. La evaluación fue casi instantánea: una propuesta sincera, compleja y fascinante. Sí, porque a la hora de los diagnósticos la música de Edhels supera largamente los márgenes de la satisfacción. Y es que este cuarteto de Mónaco, Francia, ha logrado mantener a través de los años un encanto misterioso, que se refleja en álbumes tan atrayentes como "Astro-Logical", "Still Dream" y el propio "Oriental Christmas", todo un clásico del rock progresivo galo. En estos momentos, y tras la salida de la aventurera placa "Angel's Promise", Edhels se encuentra embarcado en nuevos desafíos. Verdaderos mares ignotos para una banda que se resiste a anclar en cualquiera de los tibios puertos de las categorizaciones. La nueva odisea: Edhels Universal . Edhels is the biggest progressive band in their country, Monaco. Not the biggest of countries, but if you add France to their territory, their greatness is more apparent. Edhels is clearly one of the best progressive groups within France. the overall production is good.

Buenísimo. Me encanta poder conseguir buen progresivo de lugares poco usuales y descubrir a EDHELS fue muy reconfortante. Los sonidos de las guitarras y los teclados tienen una impresionante cadencia, y su música te envuelve en una sofisticada belleza y buenos temas. Ellos expresan una sensitiva, delicada, refinada y poderosa música, llena de contrastes. Los sonidos más característicos, pero con más sutileza en su interpretación, pueden estar en grupos como YES, lo más accesible de KING CRIMSON, y por su delicadeza y sutilidad, un poco a CAMEL.
